Description
The Dali SONIK Cinéma is a speaker from the SONIK family designed to serve as a centre channel or left/right speaker within a home cinema system. Its dual front-vented bass-reflex loading and 2-way architecture aim to reproduce dialogue, effects and music within a multichannel system, complementing other models in the SONIK range.
The speaker features two 13.3 cm woofers with a Clarity Cone diaphragm made of wood fibres with SMC technology, paired with a 29 mm textile dome tweeter. The frequency response extends from 46 Hz to 26 kHz (+/- 3 dB), with a crossover frequency of 2.2 kHz between the tweeter and the woofers. The sensitivity of 89.5 dB /w/m and the nominal impedance of 6 ohms allow for a recommended amplification power of between 25 and 150 W, for a stated maximum sound level of 109 dB. The reinforced MDF cabinet contributes to the mechanical stability of the unit.

What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is worth checking the condition of the front bass-reflex ports, which may be clogged or damaged, as well as the integrity of the Clarity Cone diaphragms on both woofers, which are sensitive to impact and humidity. The tweeter's textile dome also deserves a visual check, as deformation or a puncture can affect treble reproduction. A test at gradually increasing volume can help detect any unwanted noise or distortion linked to the age of the drivers.
