Description
The Dali Vega is an all-in-one connected speaker, designed to play music and television sound without complex installation. It brings together in a single cabinet the amplification, digital signal processing and wireless connections needed for complete stereo listening, without separate electronics.
The unit delivers a total output of 400 watts, split across 8 channels of 50 watts in Class D with BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) configuration, to power all of the internal drivers. Frequency response extends from 32 to 22,700 Hz, with crossover filtering set at 2,400 Hz, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB on the line input, ensuring a quiet background even at low volume. An orientation sensor combined with adaptive dispersion of the front and rear drivers adjusts the sound output according to the speaker's position in the room.
In terms of connectivity, the Vega supports BluOS™ multiroom streaming, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® aptX HD, as well as Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Apple AirPlay 2. It has an HDMI ARC input for direct connection to a television, an analogue RCA input, a digital optical input, a USB input and a subwoofer output.

What to check before buying used
The orientation sensor that adapts sound dispersion according to the speaker's position may drift or become less responsive over time: testing it in several positions allows its correct operation to be checked. Each input (HDMI ARC, optical, RCA, USB) should also be tested, along with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth aptX HD connection, as some wireless modules age less well than wired electronics. Finally, listening at high volume across the full frequency range allows any tired or distorted internal drivers to be detected.
