Davis 165 RO PRO

The 165 RO PRO is a three-way in-wall speaker designed to disappear into a wall or ceiling while retaining a carefully engineered sound signature. The slim-edged grille reduces its visibility once installed, making it a discreet alternative to a conventional bookshelf speaker in installations where footprint must remain minimal.

The assembly combines a 28 mm soft dome tweeter mounted on a frame that pivots by plus or minus 20 degrees, a 13 cm Kevlar midrange and a 21 cm carbon fibre woofer, all within a bass-reflex architecture with a circular port. This tweeter articulation allows the direction of the treble to be adjusted towards the listening area, a useful feature when the speaker is placed high up or at the periphery of a room. With a nominal power of 150 W and a maximum of 200 W, a sensitivity of 92.5 dB and an impedance of between 4 and 8 ohms, the speaker covers a frequency range from 35 to 25,000 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB, with crossover frequencies set between 250 and 2500 Hz across the three ways.
