Description
The 210 ROT2 PRO is an inwall speaker, designed to fit into a wall or ceiling with a reduced footprint. Its thin-edged cover allows the speaker to blend into the installation surface, offering a discreet alternative to a traditional bookshelf speaker.
The 21 cm braided kevlar fibre coaxial driver is paired with a dual textile dome tweeter, mounted in a fixed frame. The crossover frequency ranges from 40 Hz to 21 kHz, with a sensitivity of 90 dB and an impedance of 8 Ohms, for a power handling of 150 W. The rear volume available during installation may slightly influence the level of bass reproduced, as the drivers are designed to accommodate both a reduced and a near-infinite rear enclosure.
Installation is carried out via a cut-out hole of 252 mm in diameter, with a depth of 97 mm, the magnetic protective grille being removable to access the wiring and fixing screws. This model is aimed at those wishing to integrate quality sound diffusion into a ceiling or wall, without installing visible traditional speakers in the room.

What to check before buying used
On this type of inwall speaker, check the condition of the magnetic protective grille and that it holds securely, as well as the integrity of the thin-edged cover, which can become deformed when removed. Also check the condition of the internal wiring, whether soldered or connected via a terminal block, and make sure the clamping hooks have not been forced or bent during a previous installation.
