The Krypton 9 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker that sits at the top of the Davis range. It brings together four drivers spread across three ways to ensure reproduction of the bass, midrange and treble within a single cabinet, in a bass reflex enclosure with a laminar port.
The technical configuration pairs a 28 mm fabric tweeter, a 13 cm Kevlar midrange and two 17 cm cellulose pulp woofers. With a nominal power of 100 W (200 W peak), a sensitivity of 93 dB and an impedance of between 4 and 8 ohms, the speaker offers a frequency response of 40 to 24,000 Hz at +/- 3 dB, reflecting an ability to reproduce both deep bass and extended treble. The crossover frequency, spread between 400 and 4000 Hz, organises the work between the three drivers.
