Denon CEOL N12 DAB

The Denon CEOL N12DAB is a mini HiFi system that combines integrated amplification, network playback and extensive connectivity in a single compact unit. It allows a variety of sources to coexist, from physical discs to streaming and digital radio, without the need for multiple separate devices.

The amplification delivers 2 x 65 W into 4 ohms at 1 kHz, providing sufficient power reserve to drive a pair of speakers in a medium-sized room. The design favours signal paths reduced to a minimum and an all-digital approach from input to power stage, an architecture designed to limit losses and preserve signal accuracy all the way to the output. Connectivity includes an HDMI ARC input, a front-panel USB-A port, an optical digital input, a stereo RCA analogue input, an MM phono input, an RJ-45 Ethernet port, a subwoofer pre-out and a mini-jack headphone socket, allowing the connection of a turntable, a television or an additional subwoofer.

Thanks to HEOS technology, the unit integrates into a multiroom setup and can synchronise with other compatible products, wireless speakers, soundbars or AV amplifiers, to play the same source in several rooms via the home network. Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Play To from Windows Media Player round out the wireless streaming options.

This mini system is aimed at those looking for a compact HiFi setup capable of covering several uses, CD listening, streaming, DAB+ radio, while retaining the possibility of evolving towards a multiroom configuration or adding a turntable thanks to the dedicated phono input.
