Description
The Dynaudio Emit II 50 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker designed and manufactured in Denmark. It is set up in a classic stereo configuration and combines three separate drivers to cover the entire audible spectrum, from bass to treble.
The 28 mm Cerotar Hexis soft dome tweeter handles treble reproduction. The 15 cm MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) midrange driver takes care of mid frequencies, particularly vocals. What to check before buying used
The suspensions of the two MSP woofers deserve careful checking: foam or rubber can harden or crack over time, which affects bass performance. Also check the Cerotar Hexis tweeter dome, which is prone to dents or perforations, as well as the condition of the 15 cm midrange driver. The Walnut finish cabinetry should be inspected for chips, veneer lifting, or signs of moisture on the sides and rear of the enclosure.
