Dynaudio Focus 10

The Focus 10 is an active bookshelf speaker from Dynaudio, designed as a complete music system rather than a simple pair of passive speakers. It integrates its own amplification and its own network connection functions, requiring no external amplifier or source to operate.

Each speaker houses a separate amplifier per transducer: one for the tweeter, one for the midrange/bass, for a total of 390 W of Class D amplification from Pascal (110 W for the tweeter, 280 W for the woofer). This architecture allows independent control of each driver rather than an overall distribution of the signal. The built-in DSP processing adjusts performance according to the speaker's position in the room (close to a wall, in a corner or in free space), a setting accessible from the Dynaudio app; more advanced calibration is possible via Dirac Live technology, offered as an option. The magnetic grille also adapts the equalisation depending on whether it is fitted to the speaker or not.

On the connectivity side, the Focus 10 supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Roon, Bluetooth as well as access to a local network, allowing playback of content stored online or on a home NAS. The integrated WiSA technology also allows a direct wireless connection to a television or compatible USB dongle, without going through a separate home cinema amplifier.

This model is intended for use as an active bookshelf speaker for a medium-sized room, whether for music listening via streaming or as a complement to a television thanks to its WiSA connection. Its frequency response extends from 43 Hz to 22 kHz (± 3 dB at 85 dB).
