Dynaudio P4-DVC65

The Dynaudio P4-DVC65 is a ceiling-mounted speaker designed for in-ceiling installation. Its distinctive feature lies in the presence of two tweeters, which allows it to reproduce a stereo signal from a single diffusion point, without requiring a second speaker to cover the listening space.

It is built around a two-way configuration with three drivers: a 16.5 cm MSP midrange/woofer paired with two 28 mm soft dome tweeters. The latter are pivoting and feature an adjustable level between -3 dB and 0 dB, allowing the treble diffusion to be adapted according to the room layout. The entire chassis can also rotate 360° on its structure, a useful adjustment for directing the sound towards the listening area rather than letting it radiate in a fixed manner from the ceiling.

In terms of performance, the P4-DVC65 accepts a power handling of 80 W for a nominal power of 40 W, with a sensitivity of 87.5 dB (2.83 V / 1 m) and an impedance of 8 Ohms. Its frequency response extends from 46 Hz to 20 kHz at ±3 dB. Its 76 mm mounting depth and Ø 210 mm cut-out make it a model suited to ceilings where the available thickness is limited.

This speaker is aimed at those seeking discreet, integrated sound diffusion, in home cinema, bathroom, kitchen or any space where installing traditional stand-mounted or floorstanding speakers is not practical. The ability to achieve stereo listening from a single point makes it particularly relevant in small or medium-sized rooms, or as a complement to a multiroom system.
