Dynaudio P4C65

The Dynaudio P4-C65 is a ceiling-mounted speaker designed for in-ceiling installation, with a 2-way configuration combining a mid-bass woofer and a soft dome tweeter. It is intended for discreet sound integration, where the speaker disappears visually within the room while still delivering sound reproduction.

The 16.5 cm mid-bass woofer is made of MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer), a material also found in the brand's higher-end ranges, whether for home, automotive or professional applications. The 28 mm soft dome tweeter is swivelling and offers three level settings (-3 dB, 0 dB, +3 dB), allowing treble reproduction to be adjusted according to the room's acoustics and listening position. Power handling reaches 80 W with a nominal power of 40 W, a sensitivity of 87.5 dB (@2.83V/1m) and an impedance of 8 Ohms.

Its limited mounting depth of 72 mm, for a cut-out of 210 mm in diameter, allows it to be installed in shallow suspended ceilings, while maintaining consistent sound reproduction from one room to another when several units are distributed across the same installation.

This model is suited to domestic use for ambient sound or multiroom systems, in rooms where a traditional standmount or floorstanding speaker is not desired: kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms or living spaces where aesthetics take priority.

Installation is carried out using "dogleg" fixings, which are hand-tightened against the wall, after which the speaker is secured into the frame by rotation, without tools. The magnetic grille supplied is paintable, allowing it to be matched to the ceiling colour.
