Description
The Stand 10 is an aluminium speaker stand designed by Dynaudio to accommodate its range of compact speakers. It offers a stable platform designed to raise bookshelf speakers to the optimal listening height, while contributing to sound quality through its structural rigidity.
The stand incorporates a compartment designed to be filled with sand, a classic weighting method that allows the structure to be made heavier and limits parasitic vibrations transmitted to the speakers. Cable management is built into the stand, allowing the wiring between the speaker and the amplifier to be concealed for a neater finish. The adjustable spikes can be set without tools, making it easy to level the stand on different types of flooring, and non-slip rubber feet fitted to the base stabilise the whole assembly and protect the floor.
This stand is aimed at owners of compact Dynaudio speakers, from the Emit range to the Xeo via the Excite, who wish to install their speakers on a dedicated stand rather than on a piece of furniture or a shelf, in order to optimise the placement and stability of their stereo system.

What to check before buying used
The fillable compartment should be checked: old sand fill left inside unnecessarily adds weight during transport and may have slightly chipped the interior paint over time through handling. The adjustable spikes and rubber feet on the base are worth inspecting, as the latter can harden or come loose over time. An examination of the top plate and the aluminium column will also help identify any dents or signs of oxidation that could affect the stability of the speaker placed on top.
