The BS 602 X-JET is a 3-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker from ELAC. It is aimed at those seeking a small speaker capable of delivering a precise sound image in limited spaces, whether for stereo listening, home cinema use or as a monitoring speaker.
Its central technical feature is the X-JET coaxial driver, which combines midrange and treble on the same axis. This coaxial configuration aims for better spatial coherence of the sound, with midrange and treble frequencies emitted from a single point of origin rather than dispersed between two separate drivers. The cabinet also benefits from a crossed internal bracing technology, designed to reinforce the rigidity of the enclosure.
This model is particularly suited to installations where space is limited: a small listening room, office, bedroom or modestly sized living room. It also fits into a home cinema setup, as a satellite or centre speaker, or as a monitoring speaker for more technical use.

Listen to each speaker separately at moderate volume to detect any rubbing noise or localised distortion on one of the three drivers.
