Elipson Bell 4

The Elipson Bell 4 is a 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker operating in bass-reflex. Its teardrop-shaped silhouette is not purely aesthetic: it is designed to distribute sound over 360°, a useful feature in spaces where a uniform sound coverage is sought rather than a single listening point.

On the technical side, it delivers a power of 80 watts for an impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 86 dB/1W/1m, values which determine the sound level achievable for a given amplification power. Its frequency response extends from 80 Hz to 20 kHz, with a crossover frequency set at 8000 Hz between the two ways of the coaxial driver. The coaxial arrangement combines the midrange-bass and treble on the same axis, which favours the coherence of the sound regardless of where one is located in the room.

This type of speaker is suited to installations with generous ceiling height where discreet sound distribution is desired, without speakers placed on the floor or on stands: halls, lofts, entrance halls, living rooms, hallways, stairwells, as well as public establishments such as bars, restaurants, canteens or hotels. It is suitable for ambient or background sound reinforcement, in areas where architectural integration is prioritised over critical listening at a fixed point.
