The Elipson Prestige Facet II 14F is a floorstanding speaker with a 2.5-way bass-reflex design, engineered to reproduce the full sound spectrum with a 170 mm woofer and midrange-woofer paired with a 25 mm tweeter. The thick MDF cabinet incorporates an internal bracing structure intended to limit vibrations and resonances, while the front baffle combines two materials of different density and thickness to reduce acoustic interference.
The woofer, fitted with a generously sized voice coil, offers high power handling and good cooling under heavy demand. The redesigned passive crossover combines low-resistance inductors for energetic, controlled bass, polypropylene capacitors for richness in the treble, and metal film resistors for precise frequency separation.
