Description
The Prestige Facet II 24F is a 3.5-way floorstanding speaker with bass-reflex loading, designed to reproduce an extended sound spectrum from 28 Hz to 25 kHz with a sensitivity of 93 dB/1W/1m. This architecture combines two woofers, a mid-bass driver and a tweeter, arranged to cover the entire audible spectrum with a power handling of 250 W RMS.
The cabinet is built on a reinforced internal structure, whose geometry aims to limit vibrations and resonances liable to colour the sound, particularly at frequencies where the bass drivers exert the greatest mechanical stress. The front panel combines two materials of different density and thickness in order to reduce acoustic interference. Each driver is surrounded by a custom-cut synthetic rubber surround, intended to limit the baffle effect and parasitic diffraction.

What to check before buying used
The two 210 mm woofers and the 170 mm mid-bass driver bear most of the mechanical stress: check the condition of the cones and suspensions, ruling out any visible sagging or tearing. Also check that the internal crossover is working properly, as its components (capacitors, resistors, inductors) can degrade over time and affect tonal balance. Finally, examine the condition of the screw terminal block and silver-plated connectors, as well as the finish of the MDF cabinet, which is prone to damage given the speaker's weight.
