Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B

The Prestige Facet II 6B is a 2-way bookshelf speaker from the Elipson range, fitted with bass-reflex loading. It combines a 140 mm midrange-woofer with a central phase plug and a 25 mm tweeter, housed in a thick MDF cabinet.

The metal central phase plug fitted to the midrange-woofer improves control of the diaphragm's movement and limits the turbulence responsible for distortion; it also helps absorb unwanted vibrations. The front baffle is made from two materials of differing density and thickness, a construction intended to limit unwanted resonance.
