Elipson Rain 4

The Elipson Rain 4 is a compact two-way floorstanding speaker, designed specifically for outdoor installation or use in locations exposed to humidity. It combines a 25 mm dome tweeter with a 100 mm midrange/woofer driver, all housed in a rigid enclosure built to withstand climatic conditions.

Its enclosure features UV-resistant treatment and a rust-proof grille, two elements that limit degradation caused by prolonged exposure to sun or sea air. IPX4 certification allows it to withstand splashes, while its operating temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C, allows use in both winter and summer. On the electronics side, it has an impedance of 8 ohms, a power rating of 80 watts, a sensitivity of 87 dB and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz, values consistent with background or ambient sound use rather than critical high-fidelity listening.

The integrated wall mounting system, which swivels through 180°, makes installation easy on a wall, post or vertical structure, while allowing sound projection to be adjusted towards the desired listening area.

This speaker is aimed at those wishing to add sound to a terrace, garden, conservatory, poolside area or professional space such as a bar, restaurant or kitchen, without installing equipment intended for conventional indoor use.
