Description
The W35 Xi is a spherical speaker from Elipson, designed for stereophonic listening without complex cabling. Its distinctive shape combines an ABS structure covered with anthracite grey acoustic fabric with a central aluminium ring that groups together the speaker's controls.
Each speaker houses two 16.5 cm midrange-woofer drivers and two 2.5 cm tweeters, positioned on either side of the sphere to deliver stereophonic sound with a power output of 350W. This dual-transducer-per-way configuration allows sound to be dispersed throughout the space rather than concentrated in a single direction. WiFi connectivity allows several W35 Xi units to be paired together, opening the way to multiroom streaming: the same music can be played simultaneously in every equipped room, or different content in each. Also included are Bluetooth APTX for a direct wireless connection, Spotify Connect to control playback from the app, and Amazon Alexa compatibility for voice control.
