The Quad ESL 2912 is an electrostatic floorstanding speaker, the latest evolution of the ESL range from British brand Quad. It continues a lineage of speakers historically recognised for their loudspeaker-free diffusion technology.
This model retains the characteristic Mylar diaphragm of the ESL range, while benefiting from a complete revision of the circuitry and internal components compared with previous versions. This electrostatic technological approach relies on a lightweight diaphragm set in motion by an electric field, resulting in sound reproduction renowned for its precision across the whole spectrum and its ability to reproduce fine detail.
