Enova Vela VP4

The Vela VP4 by Enova is a belt-drive turntable combining analogue playback with integrated amplification. It features its own sound system, comprising four stereo speakers and two passive bass reflex radiators, allowing it to be used on its own, without an external amplifier or speakers. Connection to an existing audio system remains possible thanks to the RCA outputs or Bluetooth reception.

The turntable plays 33 and 45 rpm records and comes fitted with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge as standard, with a tracking force adjustable between 3.5 and 4.3 grams and a 218.5 mm tonearm. The wow and flutter of 0.15% and the signal-to-noise ratio of 68 dB reflect correct rotational stability and a well-controlled background noise level for this type of all-in-one turntable. The stated frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (+2/-3 dB) and the RMS amplification of 12W x2 + 12W x2 allow direct listening without additional equipment. The cartridge has an impedance of 750 Ohms for a recommended load of 47 kOhms and 200 to 600 pF, and a lateral compliance of 20 μm/mN.

This model is aimed at those who want to listen to their records again without accumulating multiple devices: a living room, an office or a room where a compact solution is preferred over a system made up of separate components. The all-in-one format, with its platter and dark wood vintage-style finish, is suited to secondary use or as a first turntable rather than to a hi-fi setup demanding separation of stages.
