Description
The Eversolo AMP-F10 is a stereo power amplifier, distinct from an integrated amplifier since it has neither preamplification nor a multiple source selector: it receives an already preamplified signal and handles only the power stage. It operates in two-channel stereo mode or in bridged mono mode, allowing one or two units to be used depending on the desired configuration.
Its power reaches 200 W per channel into 8 ohms, 320 W into 4 ohms and 450 W into 2 ohms in stereo mode, and up to 650 W into 8 ohms or 950 W into 4 ohms in bridged mono mode. This wide range allows it to adapt to speakers of varying sensitivity and impedance without running short of power reserve. The total harmonic distortion of 0.008% and the signal-to-noise ratio of 113 dB reflect a clean output, free of coloration or perceptible background noise, even on the quietest passages. The damping factor of over 600 indicates firm control of driver movement, particularly useful on the bass.
The internal architecture is based on a dual mono design, with a 1000 W dual-channel linear power supply, a toroidal transformer, DC filtering and five pairs of high-current MOSFETs per channel. Negative feedback technology complements this setup to stabilise the amplifier's operation.

What to check before buying used
With this type of power stage, it is worth checking that the gain potentiometer works properly and that there is no crackling or unwanted cut-out when switching on. The capacitors in the dual mono linear power supply deserve particular attention: premature ageing can result in humming or a loss of dynamics in the bass. It is also advisable to test bridged mono mode as well as stereo mode, along with both the RCA and XLR inputs, to ensure that no channel or connection is faulty.
