Ever solo DMP-A10

The Eversolo DMP-A10 is an audiophile network player incorporating a digital-to-analogue converter and a preamplifier function. It allows music to be streamed from the major services (TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, IDAGIO, SoundCloud, Highresaudio, among others) or from locally stored files, whilst driving an amplification chain directly thanks to its analogue outputs.

The Sabre ES9039PRO converter, combined with the XMOS XU316 audio processor and a dual Femto clock (2 x AccuSilicon FemtoSecond), supports DSD512, PCM 768 kHz/32-bit formats as well as MQA. The fully balanced preamplifier, with XLR/RCA analogue inputs, +10 dB gain and R-2R analogue volume control, aims for reduced noise and distortion. A high-speed electrical isolation system separates the circuit boards to limit interference and jitter when connecting to an external DAC or a USB device. The DDC function allows USB, coaxial/optical or ARC inputs to be converted to SPDIF or analogue output after equaliser adjustments, and the high-end ADC (up to 192 kHz) also captures analogue signals for similar processing. Eversolo's digital room correction, paired with an optional calibration microphone (EM-01), analyses the listening environment to adjust frequencies.

The unit features a 6.5-inch touchscreen LCD, 4 GB of DDR4 internal memory paired with 64 GB eMMC, an expansion bay for two M.2 SSD drives (up to 4 TB), dual-band 2.4G/5G WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX HD/LDAC). It is compatible with Roon Ready, AirPlay, DLNA, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect, and offers two subwoofer outputs.

This network player is aimed at audiophiles wishing to centralise their digital listening whilst retaining a high level of fidelity, whether to drive active speakers directly via the built-in preamplifier or to feed an external amplification system. It is particularly suited to those who want to fine-tune the acoustics of their listening room and have unified access to the major streaming platforms.
