Ever solo DMP-A6 G2 Master Edition

The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 from Eversolo is a Hi-Fi network player designed to combine refined sound reproduction with recent technologies. Beyond its function as an audio device, it aims to offer a new way of approaching music listening: both the hardware design and signal processing have received particular attention, in an approach conceived for demanding listeners. The chassis is made entirely of aerospace-grade aluminium, machined using precision CNC processes. The device features a large high-resolution Retina-type display, as well as a volume dial with new peripheral gradient lighting.

On the internal clocking front, the system relies on femtosecond synchronisation management with very low jitter. The linear power supply, revised compared to previous versions, presents a noise level below 40 µV, in order to provide a more stable voltage to the audio circuit. Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by two ES9038Q2M DAC chips, each dedicated to a channel (left and right), which contributes to a wide dynamic range and detailed rendering, including on complex orchestral works.

On the format side, the device is compatible with DSD, MQA, FLAC, APE and WAV files. It also incorporates a Bluetooth 5.0 module based on a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip, supporting SBC and AAC codecs for wireless connection with a mobile device.

Regarding inputs and outputs, the device offers an optical digital input and a coaxial digital input (up to PCM 192 kHz / 24-bit, DSD64 DoP, MQA), an optical/coaxial output with the same specifications, as well as an HDMI output compatible with native multichannel DSD64 and multichannel PCM 192 kHz. In addition, there are a balanced XLR stereo line output, an RCA stereo line output, two USB-A 3.0 ports (one for audio output, the other OTG) and an RJ-45 Ethernet connection (10/100/1000 Mbps).
