Description
The Finite Elemente Cerapuc is a decoupling support designed to isolate hi-fi equipment from mechanical vibrations transmitted by its supporting surface. It sits as the entry-level model in the German manufacturer's Cerafamily range, designed to offer a first taste of the sound-adjustment possibilities offered by the more advanced models in the same family.
The Cerapuc is available in two configurations depending on the load to be supported: a pack of 3 feet for a load of up to 225 kg, or a pack of 4 feet for a load of up to 300 kg. This choice of configuration allows the support to be matched to the weight of the equipment or furniture to be decoupled, whether a player, an amplifier or a speaker.

What to check before buying used
Check that the three or four feet in the pack are well matched, with no signs of uneven crushing or cracks on the ceramic shell, as a damaged contact point is enough to unbalance the decoupling. The internal balls must remain free of any play or creaking when the support is tilted slightly. Also make sure that the load capacity of the pack on offer matches the weight of the equipment or furniture in question, as an overloaded pack of 3 feet can lose its decoupling effectiveness.
