Description
The 100 ICW8 is an in-wall/in-ceiling speaker from Focal, designed to be integrated into the wall or ceiling of residential rooms. It is intended for background sound diffusion, stereo listening or Home Cinema use, depending on the room in which it is installed.
Its coaxial design combines a pivoting inverted dome aluminium tweeter, compact and low-directivity, with a 21 cm Polyglass diaphragm woofer. The pivoting tweeter allows the sound dispersion to be adjusted according to the listening position, while a specific filter promotes even listening even off the main axis, by limiting the effect of sound concentrated directly beneath the speaker, known as the 'shower effect'.
The unibody chassis and magnetic grilles, circular or square in shape and without a visible frame, allow for a discreet installation, flush with the wall or ceiling surface.
