The Aria Evo X N°1 is a 2-way bookshelf speaker by Focal, designed to deliver refined sound quality in a compact format. It can be placed directly on a piece of furniture or on a stand (optional), making it easy to integrate into an office or small living room.
The 16.5 cm woofer/midrange driver with Flax cone, an exclusive Focal technology, combined with a TMD suspension, produces sound described as rich and natural. The 2.5 cm inverted dome TAM tweeter delivers precise, smooth treble. The bass-reflex loading completes the speaker's acoustic design. With a sensitivity of 89.5 dB for 1 W at 1 m and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, it is compatible with amplifiers delivering between 25 W and 120 W. Its frequency response ranges from 55 Hz to 30 kHz (+/- 3 dB), with a -6 dB response extending down to 47 Hz.

What to check before buying used
The suspensions of the woofer/midrange driver with Flax cone deserve a visual and sound check, as does the inverted dome TAM tweeter, more fragile than a conventional dome in the event of impact. Also check the condition of the magnetic fabric covers and the leather-effect front panel, which is prone to marks and wear. A test at moderate volume across the full frequency range helps identify any distortion or unwanted noise.
