Description
The On Wall 302 is a wall-mounted speaker from Focal, designed to be integrated around a television as well as within a stereo system. Its slim, bevelled profile, combined with a magnetic grille and a rotating logo, allows it to be positioned horizontally or vertically depending on the desired configuration. It can be wall-mounted using the supplied fittings, or placed on optional stands.
The speaker's bass-reflex design promotes bass reproduction with impact despite a compact format. It houses four 100 mm midrange/woofer drivers with Flax cone and a 2.5 cm TNF inverted dome tweeter, forming a 2.5-way architecture. With a sensitivity of 91 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms (5 ohms minimum), it accepts a recommended power of 40 W to 180 W. Its frequency response spans from 50 Hz to 28 kHz (± 3 dB), with a -6 dB response extending down to 40 Hz, and crossover frequencies set at 1100 Hz and 2500 Hz.

What to check before buying used
On a wall speaker of this type, the rear mounting and magnetic grille system are worth checking: verify that the mounting inserts are intact and that the magnetic grille holds correctly in place. Also examine the condition of the Flax cone on the midrange/woofer drivers, which can be prone to dents or tears from rough handling, as well as the inverted dome tweeter, which is more exposed during transport or wall configuration changes.
