Fostex TH-610

The Fostex TH-610 is a closed-back headphone that follows in the line of the TH900 MK2, from which it borrows several constituent elements while positioning itself as a more accessible version within the range. It succeeds the TH600 in the Fostex catalogue.

The main evolution compared to its predecessor lies in the replacement of the metal earcups with solid machined wood earcups. This choice of material, inherited from the expertise deployed on the TH900 MK2, directly influences the acoustic behaviour of the headphones and contributes to a sound reproduction described as very realistic. The TH-610 also retains the same headband as its elder sibling, designed for prolonged listening comfort, as well as transducers with similar specifications and an interchangeable cable system, allowing the cable to be adapted according to use or replaced in case of wear.
