The Furutech DeMag is an audio treatment accessory designed to demagnetise playback media and conductive elements in a hi-fi chain. It applies equally to vinyl records and digital media such as CDs, CD-Rs, DVDs, MDs, game CDs, photo CDs, SACDs and DVD-Audio discs.
Its use is not limited to playback media: the DeMag is also designed to treat interconnect cables, connectors and mains leads. The aim is to neutralise residual magnetisation that could introduce distortion into the signal transmitted through the system.

As this is a limited edition, also make sure the casing and screen printing have not suffered from prolonged storage.
