Furutech NCF Clear Line XLR

The Furutech NCF Clear Line XLR is an audio signal optimiser that plugs directly into a free XLR input on a Hi-Fi component, without the need for an additional cable. It works on a plug and play basis: once inserted into the XLR input of an amplifier or a DAC, it operates without any adjustment or particular intervention on the rest of the system.

This connector is based on the hybrid NCF structure developed by Furutech, a material incorporating a crystalline component capable of passively eliminating static charges and dissipating thermal energy. Combined with ceramic and carbon nano-particles, this material also provides piezoelectric damping and resonance absorption, helping to limit mechanical and electrical disturbances on the transmitted signal. All metal and conductive parts additionally receive the brand's Alpha treatment, which combines cryogenic treatment and demagnetisation to improve conductivity; the contacts themselves are made of pure OFC copper plated with rhodium.

This type of optimiser is aimed at users of Hi-Fi systems fitted with XLR inputs, who wish to refine the behaviour of the signal on an existing balanced connection without modifying their wiring or changing components.
