The Goldring GL2500 is a moving magnet (MM) cartridge, designed to fit the tonearm of a turntable. It is fitted as a replacement for an original cartridge or as an upgrade to an existing playback system, to track the record groove and transmit the signal to a phono preamplifier.
It is built around a tapered cantilever paired with an elliptical diamond stylus tip.
