Description
The GAIA II is a decoupling foot designed for floorstanding speakers, intended to isolate the speaker from the surface on which it rests. Finished in a machined dark chrome metal housing, it replaces the original spikes or feet under floor-standing speakers to improve their acoustic behaviour.
Its principle is based on a patented design that offers a high degree of vibration isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillation. The speaker thus remains aligned with the listening position, without drift or tilting over time. By attenuating the internal reflections generated by the hard support surface, the GAIA II contributes to a clearer, more open sound reproduction, with a noticeable reduction in structural noise transmitted to the furniture or floor.

What to check before buying used
Check that the three coupling spikes and their locking counter-nuts are complete and not bent, as a mismatched set of screws compromises levelling. Examine the machined chrome housing for signs of impact or corrosion, which could affect the behaviour of the internal decoupling mechanism. Finally, ensure that the set of four feet offered is complete and consistent, as an incomplete set does not allow for symmetrical isolation of the speaker.
