Description
The GAIA III Neo is a decoupling foot designed to replace the feet or spikes originally fitted under a floorstanding speaker or subwoofer. Its purpose is to isolate the unit from its supporting surface in order to limit the transmission of vibrations to the floor and the resulting reflections.
The isolator housing is directional: it must be aligned with the speaker's drivers. This orientation helps contain lateral movement and oscillation while preserving the original position and listening axis. A built-in O-ring compresses against the base of the speaker to ensure contact and fixing.
The height of the foot is adjusted by simply turning the lower ring, over a range of 8.5 mm, without altering the axial alignment. This adjustment allows the speaker to be levelled on an uneven floor or the system's attitude to be slightly adjusted.
This foot is intended for owners of floorstanding speakers or subwoofers weighing 32 kg or less, looking to improve the mechanical coupling of their setup without changing speakers. Multiple thread compatibility (M8, M6, ¼-20) allows it to be fitted to a wide range of models already equipped with threaded feet or spikes.

What to check before buying used
Check that the adjustment ring turns freely over its full 8.5 mm range without any stiffness or excessive play, which would indicate a clogged or slightly damaged thread. Examine the O-ring under the housing: permanent compression, a crack or a lack of flexibility will compromise contact with the speaker. Finally, check the condition of the thread (M8, M6 or ¼-20 depending on the unit) to rule out any risk of seizing when screwing in.
