Isol8 SubStation HC

The SubStation HC is an audiophile mains conditioner from Isol8, designed specifically for equipment requiring high peak current, starting with amplification stages. It connects between the wall socket and the appliance to filter and stabilise the electrical supply feeding the hi-fi system.

Its distinctive feature lies in its ability to deliver 16 A RMS continuously on each of its two outlets, a current level designed for the peak demands of amplifiers without limiting their dynamics. The integrated DC blocking and custom earth line inductor remove noise carried by the safety earth, while a massively constructed transmodal filter, combined with custom wound components, OFC copper sheets and high-end capacitors, maintains low series resistance so as not to stifle the dynamics of the signal. Overvoltage and surge protection completes the package, with an accessible circuit breaker on the rear panel.

The non-magnetic aluminium chassis, in half-width format, allows two units to be housed side by side on a standard equipment shelf, making it easier to integrate into an existing system or to pair with another SubStation to split power distribution functions.
