Description
The JBL SA550 Classic is a stereo integrated amplifier that echoes the aesthetic codes of the historic 1960s SA600, with walnut veneer side panels. It fits naturally into a hi-fi system with a classic or retro look, and pairs visually with speakers from the JBL Classic and Studio Monitor ranges.
The unit delivers 2x90W into 8 ohms thanks to Class G amplification, an architecture that combines energy efficiency and noise control to reproduce music with precision. Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by an ESS Sabre ES9038K2M DAC, with jitter elimination processing for a clean audio signal. On the wireless side, the SA550 Classic features AptX Adaptive Bluetooth technology, which allows high-resolution sound streaming with low latency from a smartphone, tablet or any streaming service, with reliable audio-video synchronisation.
