Description
The JL Audio Fathom V2 F212 is an amplified subwoofer, positioned at the top of the Fathom range. It combines a 12-inch (30 cm) long-throw driver with integrated amplification electronics, designed to reproduce infra-bass with minimal distortion. The unit incorporates a comprehensive signal processing system accessible from the front panel.
The stated power output reaches 3000 watts RMS, representing a substantial power reserve for reproducing dynamic passages without audible compression. The frequency response extends down to 15 Hz at -10 dB and up to 157 Hz at -10 dB, reflecting a very low extension in the bass register, useful for reproducing the deepest fundamentals in both music and film.

The passive radiator and vents should be free of dust or signs of moisture, which would indicate unsuitable storage for a subwoofer of this weight.
