KEF KC62

The KEF KC62 is a sealed-box subwoofer, designed to deliver deep and precise bass in a particularly compact format. It fits equally well into a home cinema configuration or a music and gaming listening system, as a complement to main speakers, without the bulk of a traditional subwoofer.

This subwoofer features two 165 mm Uni-Core drivers mounted in a force-cancelling configuration, powered by 1000 W RMS Class D amplification (2 x 500 W), with a total peak power of 1000 W. Frequency response spans from 11 Hz to 200 Hz, with an adjustable crossover frequency between 40 Hz and 140 Hz to fine-tune integration with the main speakers. Sound level can reach 105 dB. P-Flex Surround technology ensures precise diaphragm movement, while an intelligent distortion control system limits sonic artefacts under heavy demand.

Thanks to its reduced dimensions (256 x 246 x 248 mm) and weight of 14 kg, the KC62 suits rooms of 5 to 50 m², making it a relevant option for installations where available space is limited, without sacrificing extended and controlled bass reproduction.

Connectivity includes an RCA input (switchable between line and LFE), a filtered line output and a high-level speaker input, allowing it to be integrated into either a home cinema amplifier or a classic stereo system. A KW1 wireless connection option is available to do away with the RCA cable to the source.
