The KEF KHT1005.2 is a complete 5.1 home cinema speaker kit, comprising four satellite speakers, a centre speaker and a subwoofer. This version 2 succeeds the original KHT1005, retaining its sonic qualities while adopting a black lacquered finish.
The HTS1001.2 satellites and the HTC1001.2 centre speaker incorporate KEF's proprietary Uni-Q technology, which relies on coaxial drivers. This type of transducer places the tweeter at the centre of the midrange-woofer, allowing homogeneous dispersion of sound: the coherence of the sound image does not depend on a very precise listening position, a real advantage in a living room where one does not always sit in the same spot. The PSW1000.2 subwoofer completes the set, reproducing bass with precision and dynamics.

What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is advisable to check the condition of the speakers' black lacquered finish, which is prone to scratches and visible wear over time.
