Description
The KEF Kube 8 MIE is a sealed-enclosure subwoofer, designed to complement a hi-fi or home cinema system by adding deep, controlled bass. It features a 20 cm driver paired with 300 W RMS amplification, capable of reproducing frequencies down to 34 Hz.
The sealed enclosure used for this model favours bass rigour and precision over raw output: this type of design limits unwanted resonances and supports more faithful harmonic reproduction, suiting both music listening and home cinema sessions. What to check before buying used
The suspension of the 20 cm driver deserves careful inspection: excessive flexibility or visible sagging indicates wear that degrades the bass control inherent to a sealed enclosure.
