The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 is a 2.1-channel soundbar designed in collaboration with Onkyo. It provides a standalone audio solution for home cinema, capable of processing Dolby Atmos-compatible content, whether films, series or video games.
The system features two 2.25-inch (5.7 cm) aluminium drivers paired with two built-in 4-inch (10.1 cm) subwoofers with paper cones. This configuration delivers a frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz, with a power output of 100 W RMS and a maximum sound level of 96.4 dB. Dolby Atmos compatibility allows for immersive sound reproduction, with effects positioned around and above the listener. The chassis combines metal and wood, and the unit is controlled via a dedicated app for iOS and Android, with a night mode, a Dialogue Boost function and customisable equalisation.
This model is aimed at those who wish to improve their television's sound without adding multiple speakers, while retaining the option to expand their setup later. Thanks to Klipsch's transport technology, the soundbar can indeed be supplemented later with Flexus surround speakers and one or more additional subwoofers to build a more complete home cinema system.

What to check before buying used
On this type of soundbar, check that the iOS/Android control app functions correctly and that the Bluetooth or HDMI ARC/eARC connection with the television is stable. Test the built-in subwoofers at different volumes to detect any distortion or crackling, which would indicate mechanical stress on the cones. Also check the condition of the connectors and supplied cables, as well as the absence of any signs of moisture or impact damage on the wood and metal chassis.
