Description
The Flexus Sub 100 is a wireless subwoofer from Klipsch, designed to complement a soundbar without multiplying the cables. It is compatible with the Klipsch Flexus Core 100 and 200 soundbars, with which it communicates wirelessly, and is controlled via a control app available on iOS and Android.
It features a 25 cm speaker with a paper fibre cone, powered by an 80 W RMS amplifier (160 W peak). This configuration allows it to go down to 26 Hz and cover the frequency response up to 250 Hz, which corresponds to the deep bass register useful for both film and music. The maximum sound level reaches 103.7 dB, a figure that reflects its ability to deliver bass with body without being pushed to its limits. The subwoofer also has an LFE input for a wired connection if needed.
With its dimensions of 335 x 340 x 349 mm and its weight of 9.4 kg, this subwoofer is aimed at those wishing to boost the bass of a home cinema system or a compact listening setup, without the installation constraints of a bulky model.
