Description
Lehmannaudio designs its Decade Jubilee phono preamplifier as a deliberately ambitious evolution: significantly narrowing the gap with the performance of its flagship model, the Silver Cube. The unit indeed inherits the entire passive RIAA correction network from this bigger sibling, allowing for a particularly immersive musical reproduction. The adjustment options offered also allow the unit to be paired with a very wide range of cartridges, including the rarest models.
The sound reproduction stands out for its clarity and for an ease that remains perceptible even on the most demanding passages, thanks to a discrete output stage powerful enough to retain its full quality even with long cables. Operation remains simple: all essential settings are controlled by switches located on the front of the audio unit. Internally, each channel runs in dual mono via a dedicated relay, which limits crosstalk and shortens the signal path, listening thereby gains in depth and presence, coming closer to the feeling of a live concert.
The audio unit relies on a dedicated power supply, the PWX II LC, revised with more copper and improved capacitors, giving it a more generous energy reserve and allowing the Decade Jubilee to better handle transients. Both the audio unit and the power supply stand on the 3S feet developed by Lehmannaudio, designed to stabilise the sound image.
