Loewe Bild V

The Bild V is the Ultra HD OLED offering in Loewe's television range, a German manufacturer that takes as much care over the build quality of its sets as over their picture rendering. It is a complete television, designed to be installed on its own in a living space: the sound system is integrated into the chassis, with no need to add an external soundbar.

The OLED panel is the heart of the set. Since each pixel produces its own light, black is a true black rather than a backlit grey, resulting in very high contrast ratios and fine reading of shadow detail in dark scenes. The response time inherent to this technology limits blur on fast motion, a key consideration for sport and action content. In terms of formats, the Bild V supports HDR, the HLG used by television broadcasts, and Dolby Vision, whose dynamic metadata adjusts the picture scene by scene.

The audio side relies on an integrated stereo system built around six speakers housed in a bar-shaped bass-reflex enclosure. This design gives body to the bass register and can fill an entire room with sound without depending on a separate setup, while still leaving the option to add a hi-fi system for those who want to go further.
