The Loewe Callas is an Ultra HD LED television available in 43 inches, featuring a slim Edge-LED panel paired with a forward-facing built-in soundbar. It combines display, image processing and sound diffusion in a single compact chassis, designed for spaces where the bulk of a separate system is not desired.
Ultra HD 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) is paired with full support for HDR formats: Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, complemented by OPC processing (Optical Picture Control) to refine contrast and colour rendering. A response time of 8 ms limits blurring on fast scenes, while a viewing angle of 178° horizontal preserves image quality even off the central axis facing the screen. Brightness of 450 cd/m² supports image legibility in bright environments. On the connectivity side, the unit offers four HDMI 2.1 inputs compatible with HDCP 2.2, with ARC and eARC functions, as well as a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port for media playback.
The Loewe OS system manages navigation and access to the main streaming services (Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, YouTube, Zattoo, HD+), with support for Apple AirPlay, Miracast and DTS Play-Fi for wireless streaming and integration into a multiroom audio system. What to check before buying used
On this model, the built-in soundbar deserves testing at high volume to rule out any crackling or channel loss, as this component cannot be replaced independently of the panel. Also check the proper functioning of the four HDMI 2.1 inputs, particularly the ARC and eARC functions, as well as the responsiveness of the aluminium remote control and its Bluetooth connection. Checking the uniformity of the LED backlight against a dark background helps identify any clouding areas.
