Description
The Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is a digital stereo integrated amplifier designed to drive speakers directly without intermediate electronics. It features an advanced audio processing stage and an output module based on Heritage Equibit technology, intended to convert the digital signal into amplification power with minimal losses.
The power section delivers 2x200 watts into 8 ohms, with a frequency response of ±0.5 dB between 20 Hz and 20 kHz and a total harmonic distortion of 0.05%. These figures reflect linear reproduction across the entire audible spectrum, with a distortion level low enough to remain inaudible in most listening setups. The RoomPerfect system, combined with a self-calibration microphone, analyses the listening room and corrects acoustic flaws without requiring heavy physical treatment of the room.
The unit also incorporates a complete media player: Wi-Fi, AirPlay2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, Chromecast and DLNA/uPnP compatibility allow music to be streamed from multiple sources without additional cabling. The DAC handles streams up to 384 kHz/24 bit, with DXD and DSD support via the USB B input.

What to check before buying used
The motorised potentiometer and output relays of the Heritage Equibit module deserve a check at power-up: crackling or an unexpected cut-out on one channel often points to an ageing component. Also check that RoomPerfect calibration runs without an error message, as a faulty microphone or correction memory can skew the equalisation. Finally, test each connectivity module (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Roon Ready) separately, as these circuits are more prone to faults than a purely analogue stage.
