Description
The LCR 100-THX is a floorstanding speaker from the Magnat brand, designed to integrate into a home cinema installation. It stands out through its THX certification, obtained for both horizontal and vertical use, which allows it to be installed either as a centre speaker above or below a screen, or in a vertical position within a front configuration.
Its architecture combines two 17-centimetre woofers with a 42 mm tweeter dome. This tweeter benefits from an integrated horn, known as a waveguide, paired with a sound-dispersion lens, which enables it to achieve a linear frequency response between 1,500 and 27,500 Hertz. This design aims for even sound dispersion throughout the room, with a sound level capable of exceeding 110 decibels without distortion and a sensitivity above 90 decibels, which limits the power required from the amplifier to reproduce dynamic sound scenes.
