The 11 cm woofer-midrange is built around a ceramic-aluminium sandwich cone, mounted on a non-magnetic moulded aluminium chassis. What to check before buying used
On high-gloss lacquered models, the surface readily shows micro-scratches and chips at the corners: an inspection under raking light is advisable. The surrounds of the ceramic-aluminium woofer-midrange should be checked by hand to rule out any sagging or cracking due to age.
