The Marantz Cinema 40 is a 9.4-channel audio-video integrated amplifier designed to run a complete multichannel home cinema installation, from sound processing to video distribution to a projector or television.
It delivers 125 W per channel into 8 ohms across the full 20 Hz-20 kHz band with a distortion rate of 0.08%, a strict measurement that reflects a stable power reserve even when several channels are operating simultaneously. The HDMI 2.1 inputs handle 8K and 4K resolutions in 4:4:4 with HDCP 2.3, allowing recent video sources to pass through without signal degradation. What to check before buying used
On an AV amplifier-tuner with such a dense feature set, test each HDMI input one by one: a faulty port on this type of unit is common after several years of intensive use.
