Marantz TT-15S1

Its solid acrylic resin chassis and platter, also made of acrylic and 3 cm thick, covered with black felt, are intended to limit mechanical resonances that could colour the sound. The turntable features an exclusive Marantz MM cartridge, housed in an ebony body and connected directly to the high-end audio interconnect cable, which reduces the electrical resistance of the signal along its path. The anodised tonearm was designed specifically to integrate with this system. A locking system ensures good contact between the record and the platter, while a magnetic anti-skate device, with no mechanical contact, limits the parasitic tension applied to the stylus. Drive is via an endless silicone belt, chosen for the consistency of rotation.
