This high-end ceiling speaker brings together four transducers: a Folded Motion XT Obsidian tweeter, two 3.5-inch midrange drivers with unidirectional carbon fibre multi-sectioned cones on Nomex® backing, and an 8-inch woofer tuned to match the ensemble. The Vojtko crossover, positioned at the top of the range, is assembled from audiophile-grade components. A pre-installation bracket can be paired with the speaker.

MartinLogan's signature Folded Motion tweeter is built on a genuine technical achievement: its pleated thin-film diaphragm offers a radiating surface far greater than that of a conventional dome of equivalent size. This pleated design also requires much lower excursion than a dome tweeter, resulting in controlled dispersion and very low distortion.

The result is heightened realism and remarkable reproduction accuracy. With the XT version, MartinLogan pushes thin-film transducer technology even further, for a striking sonic performance.
